Noon position 43 24 N 64 54 W Course Downwind tacking towards Lunenburg
Monday afternoon saw a period of near calm before the wind picked up from the south, moving around to the southwest, at force four to five. Dodged a few fishing boats while rounding the southwestern tip of Nova Scotia, generally sailing by and large to make the best downwind time. This morning had people digging for their fleeces and woolies, but the sun brought us back into the sixties by lunch. We appear likely to arrive late this evening to anchor up in Lunenburg bay before entering the inner harbor in the morning.
