Spirit left Bermuda, bound for Jamestown, Virginia last Thursday. A check-in from Captain Simon Colley via satellite phone provided the following update:

All is well aboard Spirit of Bermuda as she cruises at 8.5 knots on a course of 300*M for Jamestown, VA. The crew of 22 is currently sailing along with a single reefed fore, main, and mizzen and the inner jib. Just preparing to reset the outer jib after repairs to a blown out clew. Trainees are carrying their weight eagerly despite an uncomfortable/lumpy/confused sea with 60% of those aboard experiencing seasickness.
Spirit is due to arrive in Jamestown, VA early Wednesday morning to begin its onshore educational programme. Stay tuned for more updates coming soon.
