Motorsailing under Jib, Fore, Main and Mizzen
Another glorious day with some excellent sailing this morning making six knots upwind in nine knots of cool breeze under clear blue skies, with dolphins for company. The wind died completely as we crossed into the gulf stream so we drifted for a while during weather class and paused to reflect on how the crews of Patience and Deliverance would have appreciated a diesel engine (and GPS, and their own bunks). Then all hands went swimming in 14,000 feet of deep crystal blue. It was incredible.
Morale exceedingly high.
