Dear friends of Bermuda,
Bermuda, like so many communities, has large scale youth development problems. We want to be known as a community that really cares about our youth. We are partnering with our schools and recreational programmes towards a large-scale, sustainable, solution.
STS SPIRIT of BERMUDA is set to play a key role as a learning vehicle. She will accommodate a classroom of students (24 at a time), providing meaningful education, character development, and team building. Our training involves world class mentors, experiential learning, and proven teen development programmes.
The cost of SPIRIT is $5,700,000 for which we have raised $4,900,000. We aim to complete the $800,000 balance by January 1, 2007.
We aim to build the $1,000,000 endowment by September 1st, 2007; we are currently need to raise $600,000.
With your help, we can complete the capital fundraising and focus on our main business of developing and educating our young people for the benefit of future generations.
Sincerely,
Nicholas Bayard Dill,
